The 5th annual Palooza Beer Pong Festival is the world’s largest beer pong Tournament. Palooza is a not-for- profit festival raising funds for CHEO. Happening at the Aberdeen Pavillion located at Lansdowne on April 29 2017, Palooza is set to break the Guinness World Record for world’s largest beer pong tournament. Teams of two from across Canada will meet in the nation’s capital to compete.
The MEC Race Series allows runners of all skill levels to compete and challenge themselves through a series of 6 races. From 5/10K races, to marathons and half marathons, to 50K trail runs, runners will have the opportunity to race all over the Ottawa/Gatineau area over the course of the year.
The Alive to Strive Kidney Fitness Project is a non-profit organization committed to education and public awareness about issues surrounding chronic kidney disease and its prevention. The organization also operates an Active Living Grant Program benefiting those living with chronic kidney disease and hosts an annual run to raise awareness of kidney health and support related services and research.
Alive to Strive will be hosting their 7th annual race event on April 30th 2017 at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility. All funds generated as a result of the race will be used to support their “Active Living Grant Program”, benefiting individuals in the Ottawa area living with chronic kidney disease.
